It says on the website originally $159.99.. not $199.
Hi Sami! The regular Price on Amazon is $199.99. Hope that helps! 🙂
Not really.. lol
I will say I do love this app and have found many good deals on here. Lol. 🙂
Its still on sale so what does it matter?
Facts & little details. Small Personal OCD thing I guess.. I wasn’t trying to be rude or anything.. it could say originally $199 on amazon. Which it’s actually priced less than that… so it should say the list price is $199 on amazon.. idk. Just my opinion. You don’t have to agree. 🙂
Sami, you are the kind of person that I love being around and you make the best kind of employee! Details matter and when something isn’t accurate, it causes you to want to fix it. I love that type of personality!!! As an employer, I have a lot more confidence in my employees who think like you. 🙂
Thank you! 🙂 I completely agree with you.
I need a new vacuum for carpets. This has good reviews on Amazon. The #1 seller though on Amazon is a Bissell One-pass for $77. Any suggestions?
This is by far the best vacuum ever!! This price is amazing. I’ve had a shark for 4 years now and vacuum several times a day ( yes, it’s crazy I know but I have 5 kids and a golden retriever). The suction is awesome and the power is amazing. You will not regret your decision if you get it!!!
I clean houses for a living and never had good luck with Bissell. Have had good luck with Shark, Dyson and Panasonic.
Thanks for the feedback Tammy!
Tammy – I clean houses too. I need to get a new vacuum. Which model? I need something that’s easy on carpeted stairs as well as getting under beds and dressers. Do you have issues with the hose being stiff. I personally own an older model shark for my house without the detached canister which I love so I was looking at a shark for the business.
My Eureka Upright stopped working this weekend and I’ve been looking at the Shark vacuums for a while, and unsure which one to buy! They all seem to have such excellent reviews!
I bought a Shark several years and have never looked back. Shark offers, by far, the best vacuums for the price. I have had my current model for 3 years (we now use my original Shark to vacuum our vehicles and garage) and it is in perfect working order, as if I just bought it yesterday. The suction is amazing, it’s super easy to navigate, and really simple to clean. It’s not bulky or heavy and it still gets the job done. I can’t say enough good things about my Shark. I love it!
Sweet! Thanks for sharing Erika! Glad to hear how well it has held up for you!
Thinking about buying this model. Does anyone have feedback on how it cleans hardwood floors? We only have 1 carpet so just wanted to check and make sure it wouldn’t scratch the floors during use. Thanks!
I use on my floors as we ONLY have carpet in our living room and bedroom. It works great on hard floors. I vacuum after each meal under the table (4 children 😄)
This model doesn’t last long. see how the hose connects to the base on the side? well, over time that hose will stop staying attached and fall out constantly. After having two of these that did this, Shark finally updated the design with the new white model that came out this year. I picked it up at Costco for $149. love sharks, but this model is a lemon.
Yes we had this model as well and after calling after just a year each time for loss of suction they also replaced it with the white model just last month
Oh darn 🙁 Sorry to hear that Jessica! Thanks so much for the honest review!
What is the model number?
Have this vacuum…. IT IS AMAZING!! Do wish the dust/dirt tank was a little bigger tho.
Thanks for sharing Christy!
I have not had this model so I don’t know much about it but my daughter had the shark rotator professional which i think was more expensive than this model and she only had it for a short time when it quit working and when she contacted them about fixing it, she would have to pay to ship it back to them and then they could not guarantee they could fix it, the only thing they would do is offer her a reduced price(i think about $50) on a new one. A repair person that works on vacuums said he would not work on sharks because they were so hard to work on.
I have never been do excited to get a vacuum!
😀
This is the BEST vacuum! And a great price, we paid closer to 180$ for ours on sale.
Can someone comment on carpeted stairs -we have a black background print that always looks dirty even after you vacuum. Also wondering when you detach and use the canister can you easily clean under a bed or under a dresser because it has that curved handle? Or is there another longer piece I can use so I can under those things?? Thank you!
I have this vacuum and I love it. Two years and going strong.
Sweet! Glad to hear how well it has held up! Thanks for the review!
I love my Shark. I have had this exact model for 3 years and it still works fantastic.
As far as the ease under beds and dressers, it gets under them easily without having to detach the canister and use the attachments. There is also an tube extension and crevice attachment tools.
Thank you Kelly for your comments.
Awesome! Thanks for such great feedback Kellie! Good to know!
Just an FYI (only Bc Like many I notice sale prices) but often hip2save posts great deals from Target. But their $5 gc w/ some prod. Purchases are really not that great. In fact if u do the math- ur actually paying for that $5 gc ? Take the cottenelle deal? Walgreens (almost weekly) has 12pk dbl rolls for $4.99 + their in store cpn for $1 off (+ if u have a Sunday paper cpn u can combo it w/ their in store cpn monthly book) so it’s at most $3.99 (w/ sun cpn of 55 cents off) under $3.50
They also frequently have Scott’s natural paper towel n if ur like me; we use a ton of paper towel (& I like it Bc it’s great for cleaning n doesn’t track lint) that’s $4.99 for a 6 pack +$1 off in store cpn =$3.99 for 6 rolls. If u add urself to the Scott’s email list – Scott’s sends Sunday newspaper cpns to yr inbox. Adding another savings of .50~$1 off giving u a 6pack for under $3.50 or even under $3! These deals happens very often at Walgreens n I think it’s highly underrated for savings such as this. In my experience – Walgreens surpasses target deals on these items all the time! N for name brand cleaning products; go to family dollar. Where name brand products such as orange polish by pledge in a trigger sprayer is only $3. N febreeze stpray is $3 pine solve in liters is also $3 n Lysol foaming h20/peroxide for $2.25. They accept manufactures cpn + sign up for text alerts n emails n they frequently send $2 off of $10 or $5 off $30 cpn. !! Just thought I’d share with all u out there that these stores have set sales and/or set pricing which surpass on savings versus target.
Thank you! My brother bought this vacuum last year and loves it! I was looking for a small upright (my canister is super heavy) for upstairs. The timing for this deal was ideal.
