Black Friday brings the most notable November sales, and they go on ALL month long.

It’s true what they say: holiday sales get earlier and earlier every year, and in case you missed it on our site, early Black Friday deals already started in OCTOBER! 😱 Despite Black Friday being Friday, November 29th, the earlier deals mean you can get busy checking off all of your holiday lists well before the holidays. 🙌🏼

Kids can make TWO free crafts in November at The Home Depot.

The Home Depot Kids Workshops are offered on the first Saturday of every month, but this month they’ve incorporated a second date so your kiddo can potentially complete two FREE crafts!

On November 2nd, your kiddo can make a Pumpkin Tic Tac Toe (registration open now!), and on November 30th, kids can make a cocoa ornament (registration opens November 1st).

To get in on these fun free events, you will want to register online. Spots are available on a first-come, first-serve basis; just scroll down to the “In-Store Kids Workshops” and click “Sign-Up”.

Score FREE admission to any National Park in the USA.

On November 11th only, the National Park Service will be offering FREE entrance to U.S. National Parks in celebration of Veterans Day — no special park pass needed!

This free entrance pass provides a great opportunity to visit a park that normally charges an entrance fee like Yellowstone National Park, Grand Canyon National Park, and more. You can check out the full list of participating sites here. There are over 400 National Parks in the United States!

Your kiddo can make a free countdown to Christmas at Lowe’s.

The Lowe’s Kids Workshop offers a free monthly DIY project for your kiddos. And, it’s on a different day than the free Home Depot kids workshop, so you could easily participate in both!

You can register online up until the day before for workshop, but spots fill up, so we recommend registering soon. This month’s event will take place on November 16th from 10 AM to 1 PM. Mini-builders will love creating this countdown to Christmas and get excited for all the upcoming festivities.

Last year (around November 8th) we saw a plethora of deals available to shoppers from local grocery stores to online meal delivery services for free or significantly discounted turkeys with purchase. However, chances are you need to buy food from the grocery store anyways so the discounted were free turkey will seem like a bonus! Or you could score a free turkey with Ibotta’s Thanksgiving promotion.

No free turkeys in your area? Target has a complete 4-person Thanksgiving meal deal for $20, and at ALDI you can feed 10 for under $50, and both options include your turkey!

You may be able to score some freebies on National Nacho Day.

On Monday, November 6 you can celebrate National Nacho Day. In previous years Chili’s, On the Border, Moe’s Southwest Grill, and Qdoba were just a few of the popular chain restaurants giving away free and cheap nachos. Monday, November 11th is Veterans Day and you can score plenty of deals and freebies. 

Many stores and restaurants will be offering up free meals, store freebies, and other discounts and deals. These deals typically apply to veterans, active-duty military members, and their spouses, and may include anything from free entrées to exclusive discounts at your favorite retailers.

Proof of military service is usually required to score these deals. We recommend calling ahead to make sure that your local restaurants and retailers are participating (and to verify their ID requirements).
