Love these. Had about eight of them in our house-love the walk thru feature. And the price…even better!

You’re welcome!
I always urge caution with Amazon Warehouse deals. They seem to use “open box” as a way to make their customers do return quality control: I’ve bought two items stating conditions like this, but the items themselves arrived broken/abused beyond belief. Sure, Amazon takes it back for a full refund, but it’s disappointing and may be a bit of a pain to take it to a UPS location.
I’m so sorry for your bad experience. In my case, I have never have any problem, my husband order a lot of this Open Box even Refurbished items and have never had a problem!
I’ve also gotten refurbished items, and I’m inclined to trust them more: at least something was acknowledged broken, it was fixed, tested, and repackaged.
But the Open Box deals seem to be items that people returned without anyone at the Amazon warehouse even glancing inside, so what you receive ranges from a completely unopened, new item, to, in my most recent case, a tent that had been apparently attacked by a bear.
Not saying I’ll never buy Warehouse deals again — but the savings has to be substantial to make up for the higher than normal chance of there being an issue.
Oh bummer! Sorry to hear about that! Thanks for sharing your experience!
I’ve gotten used items from Amazon twice now that were supposed to be brand new, so yah, their returns department clearly doesn’t inspect items before restocking for sale very well. The last time it was a pair of toddler shoes that showed up packaged wrong and they were dirty. When I told customer service they actually offered a *partial* refund if I wanted to keep the dirty used shoes. What?! What a pain.
We bought an “open box” Power Wheel from them 2 years ago for about half the cost of brand new. Item arrived in original box and appeared to be brand new!! Still use it.
Glad to hear that Holly! Thanks for sharing!
Darn! Wish I’d seen this earlier. I have 14 month old twins and we need baby gates!!! đ
