Seems the bears I pick cannot be added the bag. I had one in there, but by the time I entered my shipping and payment information, they were out of that fur.
Seems it wasn’t the fur they ran out of, it was the brown eyes. Had to pay$10 for blue eyes!

What is the difference between Vermont Bears and any others? I can easily buy a nice teddy bear for the price of shipping.
Nothing. My husband bought me once and I was so mad he spent so much.
I went for the factory tour and the bears have a lifetime guarantee. So if you can mail them the bear’s tag and an eyeball, the company will replace the bear under the guarantee. The bears are washable but air dry and both the arms and legs are jointed. They are made in the US except fur for the bigger bears, but the work is done at the Vermont factory. It was a nice tour.

On the classic bow tie bear, does anyone know if the bow is removable?
I am pretty sure the bow is removable. The items on my bear were. It had a bow and rose bouquet. I took them off and gave the bear to my son.

My receipt showed up in my junk mail. It came from SALES. It was interesting that it didn’t come from Vermont Teddy Bear like the following messages.
After that message from Sales was sent, I received a message from Vermont Teddy Bear welcoming me for signing up and another from Vermont Teddy Bear stating that I had left something in my cart. I clicked on Complete Your Order Now and that led me to a blank page. When I clicked on View Items in Your Shopping Bag, that led me back to the Vermont Teddy Bear website where I got a message that my cart was empty.
I hope this helps anyone who is looking for their receipt.
