When you say before the coupon can be created, does that mean you have to request for it to be “created”?

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Hi Andrea! That was the term used in the details of this offer. You could always call customer service to be sure. Hope this helps! 1-800-888-9333

I had a baby in April and the way the coupon worked was that they email you like 6 or so “completed” registry coupons. So basically what that means is that a few week or so after your baby shower date they will email you all the 15% off coupons. Some work in store and some work online.

    • Erin

I can’t create mine on the Target registry page until 60 days before my due date for purchasing the rest if my items.

I wish people only create it IF they are having a baby because the “gifts” run out so quick. There were none available when I was expecting.

    • Laura

How do you know that others registered without expecting? Perhaps there is a limited supply.

    • rebecca

there is a limited supply. stores in my area said they get a certain number each month. your pregnancy goes for 9 months, just keep checking back at customer service until you get one. although they didn’t have it the first 2 times i checked, i was able to get it another time.
plus, creating the registry is not what causes the gifts to run out. it’s how many pregnant people go to a particular location and ask about the gift at customer service.

    • melissa

When I went to do my registry at target they didn’t have any either but instead they have me a 20 or 25 dollar gift card in replace of the goodie bag. You should ask. Or let them know at a different time that they were out and they will probably give you one if they have them yet

    • dealgirl

Same here but you can ask for one in store. I went to one Target and they had just given out the last bag but when I went to another target the following week they had some.

Anyone else get the Target baby catalog in the mail recently? Mine also had a coupon for a $20 Target gift certificate attached to the back, if I created a registry.

    • Katrina

I got that too! Only had to go to customer service and they handed me a $20 card. Helped with purchasing all the baby stuff before she arrived!

      • Jen

Thanks for the tip 😊 was wondering how to use the coupon

    • Trece

I haven’t received it. Fingers crossed! I can use all the help I can get with two on the way!

    • rebecca

  5. Sarah

I need stuff for my second baby and people keep asking for ideas for Christmas gifts for me. Has anyone created a registry a second time? I created one for my first baby 2 years ago

    • Melissa P.

I created one for my second baby but more so just for the completed discounts. My SIL threw my shower and told people diapers or cash was most helpful so most people just gave me cash ☺️ Only family looked at my registries for things like a new diaper bag.

    • Lauren

My little one also just turned 2 and I’m expecting another one this coming month. Unfortunately i gave away most of my stuff thinking I wouldn’t need it to a needy friend. The only thing I kept was a swing, the crib, and 2 strollers. For my baby shower I only got diapers. It seemed only 3 people bought stuff from my registry. I asked for a new bath tub, pack n play(I didn’t get one before), double stroller (I bought one and my friend bought another used), 2 bassinetts, and new bottles. I added sheets (since I only had two) and clothes but only got like 2 things. I guess it depends on what you needed compared to last time. I need 3 of some things since my mother in law watches my son and my mom. I still need to buy clothes, socks, and bottles but im going to take it slow on that. Most of the clothes I got before were donated to my mother in law from the church and school. I really miss those now.

Oh don’t forget the car seat. My other friend just gave me one back so I’m looking from now for extra bases and another convertible. My son was so chunky I was barely able to use my baby car seat for 6 months before I needed a new one. I bought a chicco nextfit for $250 after only a coupon. Still pricey…

Babies are such a blessing and the most beautiful gift from God! Congrats to you! Let’s spread love not hate everyone.

        • ohiogirl

Thank you Collin and crew for removing the negative comment….you guys are great.

      • GiulianasMom

I’d recommend Craigslist in a situation like this.

        • Heather F

I agree, Craigslist is great as long as you use it safely. Also check local Facebook groups that sell, trade, or give away used items. Good luck 🙂

  7. Whitney

The bottle I got from this gift bag is the only one I’ve used with my now five month old and it works great for him!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Glad to hear how well it has worked for him Whitney! Thanks for sharing!

  9. rn30032
