   Anyone know the pros and cons of the Apple TV? Interested in buying.

  The only con for me is that doesn’t have Amazon on it, and I rent movies on Amazon and have Prime video. You can airplay Amazon video to it if you have an iPhone or iPad though.

   I love my Apple TV! I wish it had Amazon video, but it’s a conflict of interest for Apple iTunes. However – unless you are streaming from your iPad or iPhone – you can pretty much do all the same things with a smart TV, or a Roku stick, Chromecast, Amazon Firestick, etc.

   We have Rokus and AppleTV in our house and my kids prefer the Apple TV so they can AirPlay from their Macs/phones as well as utilize the same purchase on all devices versus the Roku. The do use prime as well through AirPlay from devices so it becomes a preference thing as I like Roku.
