Professional is better! Classic/ Artisan is weak. I have 14year old professional and still works great, last Christmas I got that pretty light blue color Artisan and it burned the second time I turned it on. Luckily it was the same week I received it, and Best Buy took it back with no problem.
Is that the same 5 quart you got at Kohls? I was wondering if the 4.5 quart (for $130, plus $20 KC) deal (that H2S posted on Tues) was comparably better. or if i needed the extra half quart… lol
For me personally, being able to choose my own color is the main reason I’m debating on cancelling the 4.5 qt classic plus. That, plus whatever difference the professional vs classic plus is… (apparently I haven’t done enough research to compare the 2, but I’ve been wanting a red one for the longest time).
I’m not sure what the 4.5 is but having a bowl lift vs tilt head is such a huge difference. The bowl lift is a million times better.

So another good deal…if you Google kitchen aid tv offer. You get a 5 qt artesian in your choice of colors, food grinder, food slicer and spatula mixer for 350. After the extras you are paying 200 for the mixer and you get to do it in 6 monthly payments. So if you don’t have all the money now it makes it pretty easy.

This was very disappointing!! The deal expiration was noted as 11/19, but when I went to order this mixer on 11/18 it was already expired!
