You’re welcome Michele!
Thanks so much!!! I was going to pull the trigger on one that was double the price as this one for my 4 year old. Hip2save team saves the day again!!!!!
Glad to help Jessica! YW!
No latch, so it has to be strapped in with the seatbelt even when the kid isn’t in the car 😕
Woo hoo! These were on my list. So glad to be able to snag them now!
Does this seat have the latch? I saw one comment above that says no. I have a Graco that has a latch and I am looking for something similar. TIA!
This one does not have the latch, but Target.com has one color of the Graco Affix, which has the latch, on sale for $52.
Thank you for answering this. I almost ordered but would prefer one with latch.
Agreed! Thanks for the info. Need latch.
I don’t know for sure if this is correct, I’m going to call our car seat tech and ask but once our kiddos reached 40 pounds we were required to use the belt vs the latch. I don’t know if that’s only certain seats or what. Something to coincider 🙂
Yes, that is correct for convertible seats, but in the case of boosters, the latch is used to secure the seat to the car and the seat belt is used to secure the child.
Perfect timing! I was needing this! Thanks!!!
You’re welcome Jamie!
Please excuse my ignorance – can boosters use both latch & the seat belt where car seats can’t?
Yes, booster seats can. The latch just keeps the seat in place. It’s the seat belt that secures the child in an accident. If the seat doesn’t have the latch system then you have to buckle the seatbelt around the seat even when the child isn’t in it. This prevents the seat from becoming a projectile during an accident.
I’m guessing it expired…
Bummer! Looks like it has gone up in price 🙁 Thanks for the heads up!
