  Version 1 of this product has 1 star on amazon and needed an adapter to work with the NES even though I believe it was touted to work with the NES. I am not sure about version 2. One would assume it works and issues fixed. I choose to buy the wireless remote.

   I bought two of these today from Walmart and they DO NOT work with the Nintendo NES classic console 😞
