Any good reviews on this product please? I’m looking for milk storage containers either bags or bottles, but there are so many options out there! Any info, is very much appreciated Thank you!
I use these and love them! I also use the medela breastmilk storage bags. They’re expensive but worht it. I’ve had store brand bags leak and have had holes in new bags. Never a problem with any of the medela breastmilk products. They are my favorite and go-to gift for breastfeeding mamas! This is a great price so stock up. These storage bottles also fit the medela breast pumps. So you can pump then screw a lid on the full bottles and put an empty one on to have it ready for the next session. 🙂
I forgot to mention – I use both the bags and bottles. I pump into the bottles the amount I know my baby will drink the next day at daycare. I use the bags for any extra milk that will need to be frozen. That minimizes the need for the bags since they are so expensive and is less wasteful.
Hi Yar! I loved these. I used these with my Medela pump while I was still working. I could pump my milk right into the bottles and seal with the lids for easy storage. When feeding time came, they could easily be changed to bottles. Medela also offers a white plastic U-shaped storage bin for the sealed bottles. It keeps bottles neatly stored in the frig and allows you to put the new milk on one side, filtering the older milk to the front. Again, easy and convenient. I would highly recommend!
I love these bottles as I use them with my medela pump. I use Lansinoh bags for freezer storage.
I liked the tiny columns for freezing because they are compact, don’t make plastic bag waste, don’t risk milk spillage or spoilage in defrosting, double as a frozen ice pack in a cooler, and clip onto those 4-pack plastic clips to make them less tippy and easy to move around in the freezer.
I used storage bags but depending on how much space you have in your freezer for storage these bottles may be a more cost effective, environmentally friendly alternative in the long run. These would also be a great alternative if you have separate pumping “sets” like as in one for work & one for home or alternating between two sets (using one set for today while the other is in the wash for tomorrow)
Got the set of 6–my sister is expecting her first baby in February and this should be a big help when she goes back to work!
Thank you Ladies! I have forgotten about the waste bags will create and bottles are more eco friendly!
Breast milk storage containers (bags, bottles) and all supplies and accessories for breast pump are usually healthcare flex spending eligible. Check the fine print fir your plan. Use your account before it expires.☺
These are excellent bottles . Like the lady said above , can use these to pump milk and the extra you can use the milk bags to freeze the milk . Milk bags are great as they lay flat and can hold up to six ounces . Happy nursing !
My sisters in law used these and liked the entire Medela system.
Thanks so much for the feedback! Good to know!
Visitor3!
Thank you! I completely forgot about the health flex account!
