I have one of these that I purchased at Walmart a few years ago. My husband, kids and I trout fish a lot and I fry our fish in it as well as steak fries. It really does a great job.

I have this exact one that I bought about 4 years ago and paid $40. Still works great. It doesn’t have the largest capacity, but I only have a family of 4 so I don’t need to cook 16 pcs of chicken at once. I can cook enough shrimp and fries for the whole family in 2 batches. We try not to eat fried food too much, but we do occasionally. I am going to pick up another just in case my goes on the fritz, or I need a quick gift. This is an outstanding deal.

How do you guys store the oil if you don’t want to use it frequently?
Example: can i fry and then store the oil for 2 weeks?
