I didn’t know you can reedem points to get more points, I thought if you used points you don’t get any points? Only if you use register rewards can you get points.
Unless they changed the guidelines in the last few weeks that was the way the program worked…if you use points you cannot get points. The only points you are eligible to receive are the daily points if you use points – not the 3,000.

Hi Joe! Walgreens is now also allowing you to earn AND redeem Balance Rewards points in the same transaction on unit offers. You can read more details about that here: https://hip2save.com/store-guides/walgreens/ Hope this helps!
In need of some free rinse asap
Does anyone on here evere redeemed points below 5000pts? I have 4000 right now but our wags always trlling me minimum is 5000 or $5
Not true. I use $1, $2 all the time. However I think there is no $4 option for some reason.
$1, $2, $3, and then $5
I did this today, i used two colgate coupons. the first one scnaned fine, the second one beeped and said no product match. the manager put it thru, but why would two coupons (NOT copies) for the same thing scan once but not the second time on the same item? I did use 3000 points to pay and earned the 3000 points right back.
Glad you could snag the deal! Thanks for sharing!
There is definitely something wrong, the second coupon wouldn’t go thru in the two stores that I tried and I don’t have a kind manager that would manually let it go thru. They kept telling me it’s one per transaction, I asked them to explain to me their definition of purchase and transaction.
It has been doing this with the mouthwash and toothbrushes every time they come free after coupon and Rrs. I only buy them if my beauty advisor is there to check me out, she knows about coupons and that I do not try to use coupons in a wrong way. She tells me that she has several couponers that try to cheat the system because they follow the bad coupon sites, I told her that since I started couponing years ago I was lucky to find honest sites including Hip2Save 🙂 that taught me the right way. If she is not there I do not even try.
I used one printed coupon and I have one coupon clipped to my card. The printed coupon worked, the one on my card did not. Go figure.
Darn!
my coupons beeped last week when I tried to use 2 tide coupons. Only the second one beeped. I rarely ever go to Walgreens as there is always a problem. Even if I walk up and buy 2 tides, and use 2 coupons, one will beep. Then the cashier gets all flustered when clearly it is acceptable. I may have to go and try the free almay eye shadow though….need some funky colors for an 80’s party. Crossing fingers it takes 2 of my almay coupons!!!
Mine beeped as well then the manager came looked at coupon and it said 1 coupon per a transaction
GUYS, the coupons are beeping b/c of the way the register rings up now. If you buy 2 exact “like” products, the register rings it as
2/$7 and shows up on ONE line on the receipt, not 2 lines of $3.50 each. So when you use 2 coupons, the first one works fine but the 2nd one beeps b/c the first coupon attached to BOTH items. So now the register won’t allow a 2nd coupon. Sooo, to get around that, buy 2 different flavors, they will have 2 different UPC codes and then will ring on sep lines and the coupons will attach accordingly!
Wow! Thank you. I will do that from now on. I had stopped shopping at Walgreens because of this problem and the fact that Walgreen store coupons from Coupons.com would not work. My Walgreens will not push a coupon through if the register rejects it. It makes me mad that the company would be so cheap, and would not inform their employees about this, either. Thank you again!
what a pain….I wish they could figure this out. Walgreens often has low pickings in flavors. And, with the TIDE scenario I bought one sensitive and one regular, so unless they had the same UPC, that didn’t work either. Good thing the PG coupons say “limit 4 per transaction” so they can’t use that excuse….
You are so right! or often if Walgreens has a deal 2/$5 or BOGO Free, it’ll ring up $4.99 for one product then ! cent for the other just so we cant use a second coupon for it.
Question: Can I buy 4 and get 6000 points back? Thanks!
It appears so as I do not find a limitation listed in the ad for this deal. Hope this helps!
I did this today and cashier said I can only use 1 coupon 🙁 I wonder if the promo is same for the other flavor since I only saw the shelf sticker on the green bottle I got
I tried to do this again to Tonight after the manager pushed the second Colgate coupon thru the first time a couple days ago. Same store diff manager would not push it Thru. In addition. The cashier insisted I could not use the store paper $2 Almaty coupon and a $4 paper manufacturer coupon on an almost product, which is just wrong. The manager agreed and he rang just that for me but I had a long line behind me and it was. Very embarrassing. I have called corporate a number of times and still this store is a fiasco. I am ready to give up it is always a problem in Walgreens.
Please help! I have had the same problem two weeks in a row now at two different Walgreens. When I go to buy two of the same item and try to use two identical coupons (ex: the Colgate deal this week) they tell me I cannot use two coupons due to the fact that the coupons say things like “limit one coupon per person per product per transaction.” This keeps preventing me from doing some of these deals! I can try to show them their coupon policy but it seems open to interpretation. I never had this issue before. Ideas?
My Walgreens will not let you use the 2 coupons as it says right on coupon only one per person per visit
