Could someone please tell me how this model differs from IP-DUO60? I’ve been eyeing the DUO60 but it’s back ordered. It’s the one that was recommended so I’m not sure which one I should get? Is this LUX60 the newer model? I went ahead and got an 8qt but now don’t know what to do… I only have 4 in my family… all girls plus the dad. Maybe I should return the 8qt and take advantage of this deal?
I have been told 8 qt would be more for family of 8+. I have a friend who used her 6 qt for three adults and five children and it was plenty. If you have a crockpot it is most likely 6 qt as it is the most common size. I almost bought the 8 qt one when hip2save.com advertised it on sale for $130 a few weeks ago but decided it was silly to pay $30 more for a quart size I don’t need. So I just bought this one because Id been waiting for it to go down. I figured I would have to wait until Christmas time but saw this and immediately snagged it!
This model only has high pressure, where as the DU model has high and low pressure.
Only thing different is yogurt function and high and low pressure options
Do you need low and high pressure for anything specific?
The duo has more options like a yogurt function. I’d hold out for a duo just so you have all the options in case you want them.
I believe this one does not have the yogurt option.
I thought the duo is the newer model – not this one
