I’m a bit cautious when purchasing gift cards on E-Bay. Has anyone ever bought from this seller or E-bay when it comes to gift cards?
Most/all of these are from the Paypal Digital Gifts account, which is run by a huge ebay couple and affiliated with paypal. They are 100% safe.
Totally not true. They ARE NOT affiliated with paypal. They just use the name paypal to make you think it is through paypal. I have bought a lot of gift cards that were through this company. Several were okay but then I ran into at least 4 when I went to use them, they had a zero balance. The company refused to do anything because they do not have a guarantee they stated. I had to open a case through Ebay and I am still waiting for a response. The company will not respond to them so they are holding it up. If you check their reviews thoroughly, A LOT of people are complaining of the same thing. They are saying they are reselling the cards leaving you stuck. My cards were redeemed 5 states away from me when I called to find out why they had a zero balance and the dates were exactly 30 days after my purchase date conveniently which lets this company off the hook.
PayPal Digital Gifts is the approved seller of both eBay digital gift cards and many other third party gift card brands. This is listed on the site which made me think it was legit. But I was told by Ebay that it is not affiliated with Paypal at all. If you buy, make sure you use right away. I had to start doing that with Raise as well. They were the same way and it was a hassle using cards with zero balance and spending extra money I didn’t intend to spend. I thought I was safe buying a $100 giftcard as I was checking out online at Kmart. But nope, it had a zero balance and took them a week to give me back my money. I ended up losing points and the promotion going on because I didn’t have another $100 to spend immediately while waiting on Raise to verify where the card was used:( Raises mistake ended up costing me over $50 loss in the end
I always read the reviews first and this one had a 99.5% rating . Just bought a red robin. Will let you know.
I’ve bought a $100 Lowe’s card for $80 before and it worked great but the card was an actual card. When I checked out the Red Robin gift card on this post it made me wary that it is email delivery.
I bought the Red Robin ebay gift card deal in December, and it worked fine!
Awesome! Thanks for sharing your experience!
I just bought one and it’s my BDay so we are going there tonight for my free burger with a discounted gift card😅 I received the email within an hour, and will be sure to post if it doesn’t work!
Sweet! Happy Birthday! Enjoy!
Applebees earlier today, and now Red Robin! $100 worth of gift cards for $80! Thanks so much!! Even if we can’t always get to the restaurant with two kids (or want to LOL), it sure helps with To Go orders!
Happy you were able to snag them Kalynn! You are very welcome! 🙂
It worked perfect, thanks Collin for the B-Day wishes and all you and your awesome team do☺️
You’re very welcome! 😉
