I know people laugh at this, but once you start using it you feel so weird going without it. I have converted my entire family!

    • Amy

Yep! My kids’ pediatrician recommended these when my son was having constipation issues.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Thanks so much for your feedback Katie! Glad to hear it! 😉

  2. Summer

    that poor model

    • Emily

Lol I know! Why did they make her wear nude color pants 😂

    • AP

      Hey, it’s a paycheck! 🙂

    • AP

      Ditto on the pants. Lol!

    • Mary

Lol her face is like “I don’t get paid enough for this job”
In all seriousness though, we love our Squatty Potty and their infomercial is a thing of genius!!

  3. C

They may look kind of silly but I love ours. I now regret #2ing in the bathroom that doesn’t have a Squatty Potty. They’ve converted me!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Good to know how much you like yours! Thanks for sharing!

I’ve seen these $30 for a pack of 2 at Costco. My coworkers bought them as a valentine gift for their hubbies. So funny.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Lol! Too funny! Great gift! 😉

  5. AMH

We use a fold up step stool we got at Aldi for $5.

    • Alex

Tat’s a better option. We can just use a step stool! People with kids definitely have one !

    • Sandy

If you have room in your bathroom, a step stool works great. But I have one of these in my entry/hall bath, if I use a step stool I literally can’t close the door, and folding it and getting it in and out is annoying, especially when your three old has to go. I love these because they fit easily into small bathrooms!

  6. Jeni

I originally ordered on Amazon but canceled once I seen the comment about being a better deal at Target!! This will hopefully help my poor little sweet baby girl (4 yr old) with re-occurring UTI’s. Will try anything at this point.
    TY Colin!!

    • Jen

Your poor little one. Have you had her tested for urinary reflux? My daughter had this when she was little and was prone to uti’s.

      • Jeni

No we haven’t, at least not yet ..? Her peds says it’s more common for little girls esp when there learning/wanting to do those sorts of things themselves but as a concerned mother I’m want to try an help her any way I can. TY for the suggestion!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      You’re welcome Jeni!

    • Klaw

I know when I was young I had a urinary tract infection, and the doctor made sure he told me to wipe front to back! It’s common in girls because how close the #2 exit is to the #1 exit is in female anatomy. :/ so make sure she knows to wipe correctly

I having been using a step stool for about 15 years now. I purchased 2 Kids II step stool from Walmart for about $8 each for my daughters (now 13 and 17), when the oldest started potty training and ended up using them for my #2’s. Both of my kids used them and now I use them. I don’t feel normal going #2 without it. I hate traveling bc I don’t take it with me! Guest have asked me why I have a child’s stool in my bathrooms, and I bluntly tell them why! Lol

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Lol! Thanks for sharing your experience Jan! Happy to hear how well the step stool has worked for you and your family over the years 🙂

  8. Hill

It really is a great product. We replaced a muffler on our car and they gave us stickers with “flow master ” in it and they went on the squatty potty! My husband calls it the flowmaster now.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      LOL!! Too funny!!

  9. Mili

May sound weird but these are amazing for a mom in labor. Awesome product

    • Kay

Mili how do you use this in labor?

  10. crazy 4 deals 🌹

Glad to know we aren’t the only ones who do this. Lol. We just use a regular step stool though and it helps us out a ton especially my 5 year old who was problems passing his stool. I myself can not go without it when I’m at home it’s so helpful 🙂

  11. NatJac

I had to order one for my husband after watching your live video today! I’ve heard too many great things not to try it now! 🙂

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Happy you could snag one for him!

  12. Beth Coats Macon

And that is why I love your blog Colin – you not only share with us good deals – you give us laughter a long the way

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Aww, thanks for the sweet comment! I sure do appreciate it! 😉

  13. Sana

Would this be useful in potty training.?We are using a step stool right now but it seems to be always in the way others who don’t use it. This looks like its conformed to the shape of the toilet and would be less in the way of the others.

    • Brenda

I think it would work great for potty training! And it’s great that it slides right under the bowl, out of the way.

  14. Mary

Got one of these to help with pregnancy potty issues when it’s hard to go. I love it. Def worth a buy.

  15. Justine

I know it’s a weird concept for us non-squatting Americans, but these work and are well worth it! I’m in my 20s and didn’t think I needed a Squatty Potty, but it cuts my bathroom time in half (or more) and makes it easier to go. I miss my Squatty potty when I’m away from home. Trying to convert the rest of my family . . . 😛

  16. Nikki

i guess im just the one random person in the world that doesnt have issues going #2… lol love that this helps everyone else though 🙂
