Britax Recalls Over 675,000 Click & Go Strollers
Have you heard the news?
If you’ve purchased a Britax B-Agile and BOB Motion Stroller in the past, you may be interested to know that Britax is recalling over 675,000 strollers in the United States as they have received reports of damaged Click & Go receiver mounts on the stroller frame. This can cause the attached car seat to disengage unexpectedly, posing a fall hazard to infants in the car seat.
Britax is specifically recalling these select models of the Britax B-Agile and BOB Motion Strollers with Click & Go receivers. You can head here to see if your model is affected and to request a free set of reinforced Click & Go receivers if you own a single stroller. If you own a B-Agile Double Stroller, you should contact Customer Service to learn how to continue using the stroller safely for infants.
If your seat meets the requirements of this recall please contact consumer services at 1-844-227-0300 Monday through Friday 8:30AM-7PM ET or email them at Stroller.Recall@britax.com for a repair kit.
So glad we went with the Bob revolution instead of the britax!!
Strollers are perfectly safe when you aren’t clicking a car seat into them. I had the B-Agile. Fave stroller I ever owned (and I’ve owned Bumbleride, Graco, Maclaren, BOB, Joovy, Britax B-Ready… kinda a stroller junkie!). It’s maneuvers so well, is super lightweight and compact fold. Was my go-to and finally sold because my kids are hefty now and too heavy to push.
Hi, luckily I’ve read a post here, I’ve bought the britax double stroller in decemeber for about 360$. It was recalled too. They were not offering a repair kit for double strollers, so instead of the kit they will be sending me the brand new 2017 Britax B ready double stroller. Yay! Also, I will keep the old one too.
I just got the Britax double stroller in Jan 2017, but they only offer the head insert. I am planning to return it to Target. How did you get the brand new Britax B ready double stroller?
I have the double stroller. How did you get a new one?
