According to slickdeals if you have a laptop and it heats up it could cause the glass to shatter.
Putting a laptop fan under your laptop solves that problem.
Most newer laptops don’t overheat like the older ones do. I worked on this desk with a laptop for three years and never had a problem,

I would love to buy this, for my bedroom. But, the desk I bought on Black Friday, is still in the box, tucked behind the living room chairs. By the time I get around to assembling the second desk, it will be Christmas time again. Never thought I’d be too lazy, to take advantage of a good deal – LOL
