Best uses? Would like readers ideas and tips. TIA
This stuff works!! It takes away any sort of musty smell out of clothes when added in the washer with your detergent.
DIY all your own cleaners with it! There are tons of recipes online for all purpose cleaners to laundry soap. Good luck!
I use it to make my own laundry detergent.
You can use it to raise the pH in your swimming pool.
I second this comment. We use Borax regularly for the pool during the summer. Best option for increasing pH. It does not impact alkalinity like baking soda and is far cheaper than anything sold at a pool supply company. Now I just need a deal on a boatload of bleach.
Make some slime.
I was going to say slime too! Get one of the huge bottles of glue and you’re set!
I know MANY things are controversial but I recently read an article where children had a horrible reaction to the slime made with this. Just something to keep in mind.
Use for all purpose cleaner, making our own laundry soap, kid science experiments. Love this product. Thank you.
You’re welcome Bri!
It will eliminate ants!! Mix a little with sugar and water, leave it where the ants like to party and boom….no more ants!!
That’s who I do to eliminate ants too
What not who
Just be careful… I see this as an ingredient in a lot of natural house cleaning products… But I’ve also read that it is quite toxic. So I have mixed feelings on using it…
From what I’ve read the problems with it are if it’s inhaled or ingested, so probably not the best thing to let kids play freely with, but an adult should be fine as long as you’re careful not to get it airborne.
tide is toxic too– has an F rating on the http://www.ewg.org https://www.ewg.org/guides/cleaners/2421-TideFreeGentleLiquidDetergentHE
and here is borax
