On the fence? Lina’s (our DIY gal) Cricut Explore Air review –
I love the Cricut because it was easy to setup and worked the very first time I tried it. They walk you through exactly how to use it and how to make a cute greeting card project – so it teaches you.
The preset projects in the Cricut Design Space were perfect for learning and easy to understand. I also loved the marker feature of the Cricut for really fun written details! I love the tool storage on the Cricut machine too!
I am not an expert in this type of cutting machine crafting but was able to make these projects easily on the first day and had lots of FUN!
My experience with the Silhouette machine was very difficult and the opposite. I had a hard time loading the mat just right, and the setup was awkward in my opinion (this was also three years ago, so maybe the machine has changed a bit?).
Has anyone ever used these to make large wall decals? I figure it would go on in pieces but looking for a 3-4 foot image. And how long does this sale last?
Do you need to purchase cartridges? This is the way the old cricut worked but maybe it’s changed? Or can you upload your own text/image?
No cartridges needed – the design space software lets you upload your own images and also has a TON you can purchase for a buck or 2 each. I have made lots of stuff from images on the internet 🙂
What is the difference between this Cricut and the Cricut Air 2?

Is anyone else having trouble? It won’t give me shipping options, so the purchase won’t complete…
Hey there! Did you apply the promo code HIP2SAVE at checkout!
It did that to me when I ordered a few days ago
. I closed the page out and went back in and it worked.
I just purchased the Cricut Access and cannot figure out how to get the extra 10% off when ordering the machine. Can anyone help? Thanks!
Hey there Lori! After purchasing Cricut access, you simply add an item to your cart and your 10% off discount should immediately come off at checkout (NO code needed). THEN, be sure to ALSO enter the promo code HIP2SAVE at checkout, and you will get another 15% off AND free shipping…
Let me know if this works for you!
Thanks for your response. I did try that and it didn’t work. Does it matter which access package you purchase? I purchased the the monthly fonts.
I am not thinking it should matter.. I would suggest calling customer service to let them know the 10% off is not automatically deducting at checkout! So sorry you’re having an issue…

Lori, were you ever able to get the 10% off to work? I’m having the same issue.
How long the code be good to order one? I hope it will be good until later this week and will try to order it, always have want one since I love to work on the crafts!
Hi Pamela! This code will be good through March 31st! I hope this helps. 😀
After multiple attempts, I was finally able to get shipping options to come up and finish my order. I also had the same issue, however, with the extra 10% discount for Access members *not* being applied.
I am having the same problem…I cant get the shipping option to show and it wont let me place my order. Guess I will keep trying. I missed this last time it was posted and dont want to miss it again! I am choosing the less expensive option but wondering where I buy the vinyl from ?
Sharon, there are many fb groups for the Cricut. Join a few and they should be able to answer your questions. Also, youtube is a great resource. I prefer Oracal 651 vinyl over the Cricut brand, but that’s just a personal preference. You can buy that at Michael’s or find it online.
I had that same problem with the shipping options not showing. My husband was able to get it to work by typing in my shipping address instead of using the auto-fill. Apparently there was something with the auto-fill that was causing the form to “hang”. Good luck!
Does anyone know how long this deal will last?
Good through March 31st. 🙂
I am having problems getting the cricut access 10% off to work. any suggestions? I’m driving myself nuts 🙂
