  It did say you needed a power not. I was able to find one for 3.99 from online and chose store pick up so we didn’t pay for shipping.

   If you get these gloves be sure to test them to make sure you can get through the initial training sequence. Our first pair had to be returned (which seems like a common thing with them).
   The playmation system has been discontinued, but there are still pieces readily available – and at great prices. I was able to buy every kit/figure/bot available for under $150 total.

   Toys R Us had these on sale around Christmas, so we bought each kind. Each starter set, like the gamma gear, has what you need to play right away. The prowler bot will roll around the house and follow you. Looks like it is on sale for $3.99. The starter gear comes with 20 missions, and each figurine gives you more missions. It tells the kids what actions to take to fight the bad guys. So kids have to use their imaginations to pretend the enemy is their, and be prepared to jump around a lot.
