Question for cricket users… I’m new! How do u transfer vinyl onto t shirts? Do u need a special machine? Or is an iron good? Thanks in advance!!

    • Micah

You can use an iron or get a heat press. I have a silhouette and use my iron. There are several tutorials on YouTube that are super helpful!

    • Ali

Make sure you buy the iron on vinyl. Regular vinyl will not stick to fabric!

      • Andrea

If you’re looking for a temporary job, regular vinyl WILL stick to fabric for a few washes. Stick your vinyl on your shirt, place a clean piece of paper (no ink!) over the top, and VERY BRIEFLY press a hot iron to it. This works great for times when you just need it for a short time: costumes, etc.

    • Laura

      Thanks so much!

Any chances they will restock the machines? I missed that deal and really need one!! I have the first model that came out and it broke a few weeks ago😩

Also my advice is do not buy the Cricut brand htv. In my experience, it is expensive and doesn’t stay on like higher quality htv. There are some great online companies that offer large rolls of htv for what you’re paying for a small roll of cricut vinyl and it is much better quality.

    • Kim

Anyone know where to get cheaper heat transfer vinyl in bulk? Cricut’s brand is expensive and you don’t seem to get very much.

      • cbeths

Try Craftvinyl.com but please READ all the rules that go with each deal. Shipping does take a long time 3-4 weeks and you will not receive any kind of correspondence from the store. you will only receive your paypal receipt as proof they have received your order. Don’t order if you need the vinyl soon. And look him up on facebook also.
I’ve ordered very reasonably priced vinyl at Speedy Vinyl also. They have sales.

Most of the materials bundle I want are out of stock :(. Are there other cheaper brands available for the materials that can be used? . My machine arrived on friday 🙂 Thanks hip2save!

This is where I buy my htv from. Great company and you get points with every order to use towards money off of future orders

    • Amy

      YES Please!!!

I have been trying to purchase through my account and it keeps telling me to pick a shipping method but under shipping it only has “sorry no quotes are available for this order at this time.”. I have tried both mobile and laptop. No luck, anyone else experience this?

    • Heather

Mine did the same thing! I refreshed the page and it showed the shipping options. I had to enter my card info again. Hope that helps!

    • zoe

uncheck the ship to this address, you should be able to see the shipping options

      • Julie

It was a combo of both your suggestions, uncheck ship to this address and then refresh the browser after inputting the address. Worked great, Thanks ladies!

  8. Sara

    Thanks! I ordered MORE supplies.
FYI- I bought a nice storage cart at Ikea which is perfect for my cricut and all of the supplies I have accumulated.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

You’re welcome Sara! Thanks for the tip on how you store your supplies! Good to know!

    • Stephanie

Which storage cart did you get? Does your circuit sit on it as well?

  9. Phantom Assistant

    Thanks so much for this!!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      You’re very welcome!

  10. Rachel

Thank you, needed the stylus tool.
