The annual Kids Bowl Free Program offers kids (whose age does not exceed the limit set by the participating bowling center) the opportunity to bowl absolutely free throughout the entire summer. Kids can play 2 free games every single day. With the average game costing between $3.25 and $5, that’s at least a $400 value per kiddo!
Kids Bowl Free is a fun, cheap way to get you and your kiddos out of the house for some good old-fashioned fun! The program is offered at over 1,500 bowling centers in the US and Canada, so there is a good chance you’ll have this program at a bowling alley near you!
Snag this bowling deal your kiddos will love! Bowling is a great way to get your kiddos to have fun, build new skills, and meet new friends! Plus, it gets them actively embracing a new way of burning energy during those long summer months.
Ready to get your children registered? Each child will snag coupons for two free games of bowling daily throughout the entire summer!
To register your kids, head to the Kids Bowl Free website and select a bowling center near you.
Note that registration openings will depend on your location. Make sure to enter your email to get notified if your location has not opened up just yet.

The Kids Bowl Free program also offers a great deal for parents and older siblings! You can snag an optional Family Pass which allows up to four adults to bowl two free games right alongside the kids all summer long! These passes start at just $34.95 and cover 2 games per day!
After you sign your child up to bowl for free, you will be directed to a page offering Family Passes – you do not need to purchase this for your child to bowl free as he or she has already been signed up (look at the very top of the page where it says congratulations). This is purely an option to get the rest of your family discounted bowling so you can play along with your child.
Don’t forget your bowling shoes.
Shoe rentals are not part of the pass. You can find shoe rental options for your specific bowling center displayed on the right-hand side of the registration page. Keep in mind that each center’s policy is different and some centers even offer an unlimited shoe rental pass for the summer. For more information, call your center about this option.

Question…Does the bowling alley require you to rent bowling shoes or is it optional?
Great question, Debbie! I would suggest calling your local bowling alley to find out if they require shoe rental. This can vary by location. 🤗 ❤️
My bowling alley allowed me to bring my own bowling shoes from home. I bought the cute pink & white bowling shoes at Academy Sporting Goods for around $30 – totally worth the price, if you’re going to bowl on multiple occasions.
