I agree with Christie, I went through 2 of these in less than 3 years. I cannot recommend these toaster-ovens. However, their CS was great. When my 2nd unit broke after about 1 year of use, I called KitchenAid. I am not sure my unit was still under warranty, at that point. They sent me a brand new one (unit #3), and a postage-paid return shipping label and asked me to return the broken unit. The 3rd unit – sent direct from KitchenAid- is STILL working after a little over a year of use.
