Has anyone with a food allergy taken a cruise? If so, any tips or advice? Thank you in advance!
My best friend has a VERY food allergic son (soy, nuts, and more) and they regularly sail Disney and Royal Caribbean cruise lines. You just let them know of your needs.
Thank you CW!
Cruises are great with food allergies as well as Hard Rock Resort, Beaches and H10 properties! I’d love to help you out with your family vacation! https://www.facebook.com/EndlessDestinationsByRachel/
My BIL has Celiac Disease (a serious gluten allergy) and had an amazing experience on a cruise precisely because they were so good about special accommodations for meals due to his condition. He is SO restricted on being able to find places that he can truly trust to be “gluten free” that he doesn’t get to eat out very often. He enjoyed the quality of every meal he ate and was his biggest memory. I wish I could remember which cruise line, but I would imagine they all want happy, healthy customers.
We do them and my daughter has celiacs. Just tell them and put in on your reservation and they’re great about it.
Thank you Krybs!!
My friend had a allergy and they are amazing. She had separate meals daily all individually wrapped.
There are some xmas dates
First time learning about cruises – how does this work again? Ready to book a summer cruise this year. Almost around the corner.
Diana,
You will love it!!!!! There is no shortage of things to do. All info can be found on the site, but I would suggest calling a cust service rep to explain the details on the basics. FYI if you go to Cape canaveral, include the transfer. If you go to fort Lauderdale, take a taxi (5min trip)
If you go from Cape Canaveral and you have four people going, rent a car from MCO. We did this for $35 which is what one transfer would’ve cost. Plus, the places you drop off the car shuttles you free to the pier. Worth the savings.
Also, a Royal Carribean great on GF dining! So accommodating!
I would love to help you out! I’m a travel agent and it doesn’t cost more to use us! You can check my page out at https://www.facebook.com/EndlessDestinationsByRachel/
Also, you could qualify for 60,000 points ($600) off your ticket for flights! Makes cruising much more affordable! https://refer.amex.us/RACHEP8Ax1?XLINK=MYCP
