Just an fyi, do you know that these go for $5 at Five and Below which is a sister company to the dollar general (all items sold are $5 and below). I live in Florida so I’m not sure how wide spread the access to this store is in other states as I have heard it’s a fairly new branch. Just as well, I’m not sure of the quality comparison, nor if they carry as many color options (I’ve seen black, pink, white and purple in my stores) but I recently purchased a white one for my daughter and for $5, I’m pretty happy…and so was she (age 11) and if you’re not in a hurry on the delivery, I know they sell them on “Wish” for the same price. It will be shipped from China and it takes almost a month ,give or take, but just a suggestion if your on the market for one at a cheaper price 😉
I was just about to say the same thing about finding them at five below for five dollars. In fact, I just bought two earlier today each of my girls, and hung them up this evening. Funny coincidence. However at my store they only had white.
I can’t see these staying up long. One night of sleep and they will be ripped down. My kids are big movers while they are asleep.
I worried about that too. For $5, I decided to see how it goes. I’m a thrashing, snoring, kicking, cover stealing, slobbering mess when I sleep. Luckily my girls took after their dad. When they sleep, they look like they’re pretending they’re asleep. Especially my six-year-old, she looks like a little angel when she sleeps. Makes me so darn jealous! Lol.
Also, I draped it around the frame, instead of how they did it in the picture.
I do the same as AP had mentioned. My niece (currently 5yo) comes to visit me often and we put this all the way around the bed to make a fort. When it’s time to go to bed for the night, we just wrap it around the frame/edge. It’s out of the way and the only person who gets tangled ends up being me, and that’s just because I don’t have the best coordination… in everyday life 🙂
