I don’t have this Lodge one, but I do own a Tramontina enameled cast iron pot, and HIGHLY recommend that everyone have an enameled cast iron. Clean up is a breeze, it gives an even cook through, and you can use it to cook almost anything! My favorite kitchen pot!
I agree! I got a Le Creuset cast iron enamel Dutch oven and the braiser at TJMaxx a few years back on clearance for $99 each. Out of the gazillion kitchen items I’ve purchased in my lifetime, most donated as I hardly used them or they just turned out to be crap, these 2 are used constantly and with joy.

JFYI- the enameled ones are made in China, not USA.
I was about to purchase a few as gifts when I saw this was made in China. Only the original Lodge cast irons are made in USA.
Thank you, Collin, Hubby has been looking at this item and has a bday coming up. One important note…after I placed my order, I read some of the customer reviews about how this item is shipped. They recommended that a customer request during the order process that the item be shipped inside an Amazon box with padding, at no charge. (I had to do a live chat to make this occur, super nice service.) Apparently, other customers’ shipments were in the original manufacturer’s box only which led to damage during shipment.
