Bummer! 🙁
These are GREAT- I was fortunate enough to get one for $55 a few years ago when toys r us had one on clearance and an additional coupon- but would definitely be worth the $200
Great score Lauren! Thanks for the review!
I couldn’t get it either 🙁 Super sad because I have been on the hunt for this car seat!
Looks like you can grab it in Essex for as low as $232.43, after the pick up discount. Hope this helps!
They just had it in Amazon too for $197, but it’s gone now
Coming up as $299 for me when I select the shadow color 😕
I just updated the post. It appears you can grab it for a bit more in the Essex color. Hope this helps!
Love this seat! And for anyone needing to fit multiple seats, this the one of the very narrowest out there. Highly recommended!
Thanks for the awesome feedback Kate! Good to know!
In the baby mode (5-45 pounds/rear facing), I’m guessing there isn’t an option for making this a carrier carseat (like taking it out and carrying it if baby is already asleep upon arrival at destination)?
No, this is a convertible car seat, not an infant bucket seat, so it does not have a handle to carry it like an infant bucket seat. It is also made with steel instead of just plastic, unlike the majority of car seats, so it is extremely heavy.
Thanks, Megan!
in the picture why do they have that 4-year-old girl facing backwards??!!
what a weird advertising picture.
To show that you can extended rear face in the seat. My daughter is 3 and has to forward face because she’s hit the limits of her seat, but her little sister is a peanut and will RF for quite a while still.
It’s safer to rear face so the longer they can stay that way the better chance they have of surviving an accident. Which is the point of the car seat.
