HOT Staples Deals: Ticonderoga Pencils 24-Pack $2.80, BIC Highlighters 5-Pack 25¢ & More
Did you know Staples offers a 110% price match guarantee?
It’s true! If you find a currently available lower price on a new and identical item, just show the Staples cashier or an associate at the customer service desk the lower price when you buy the item at Staples and they will match it plus will discount it by 10% of the difference.
And if you purchase an item from Staples and tell them within 14 days that you found that item at a lower price in their stores or online at Staples.com, they’ll refund the difference!
*Check out more details HERE.
Please note that if items will be free or better than free after the 110% price match, Staples will only honor a 100% price match to the competitor ad. Also, you may be required to purchase a $5 minimum on penny items if you are price matching to Office Depot/Max 1¢ or 10¢ items.
This means that you can take this week’s Target Weekly ad AND Office Depot/OfficeMax Weekly ad that have lots of great deals into your local Staples to price match AND save even more!

Does office depot price match too?
I ordered online and picked up in store and I wanted to price match. The manager told me that’s only for in store purchases only. ☹️
I would of just returned them and then buy instore
I am so confused at the “final costs” on these posts… I don’t get how the pencils go to $2.80 (a 20¢ / not even 10% difference) and the highlighters go to 25¢ (a 25¢ / 50% difference)….
Hey there Allison! The 10% off only comes off the difference between the Staples price and the competitors price! Then, the 10% off is deducted from the competitors sale price. Hope that helps!
Never mind my previous comment! I thought it would be 10% of the sale price, but now I read that it’s 10% of the difference between the two prices. Got it!!!!
Do I have to take the hard copy of the Office Depot or Target ads in with me? I don’t know where to find that, but if I can match to the online weekly ad that would work for me.
i’m confused why the glue is 50 cents then goes to 45 cents after price match, but the highlighters go to 45 cents. Am i reading something wrong?
Hi Sara! The extra 10% taken off is off the difference between the two prices. The price difference for the glue is 50¢ – 10% of that is 5¢, making the glue 45¢. The difference between the prices of the highlighters is $2.49 – 10% of that is 25¢, making the highlighters only 25¢. I hope this helps.
My Costco has 96 ct. Ticonderoga pencils for $9.49. They are not pre-sharpened, but it comes out to $1.19/dozen.
Do these pencils sharpen in a regular electric sharpener (with only one size hole)? I love these pencils!
Oooooooooooh… I hope our Costco in southern CA has those, too!
Can you match to the online weekly add or does it have to be hard copy paper?
Wondering the same?
I always use phone to show ads. No problems.
Question do you have to take every weekly ad from every store to get the price match? ?
