   I am 36 years old and collect Calico Critters. I first started out collecting both families and playsets, but I decided I didn’t really have room for the playsets, so I sold the playsets. Both the playsets and families are well-made.

   Calico Critters are so cute! My 4 yr old loves them. There are lots of little pieces but we put them in a plastic shoe box as soon as she’s done playing.

   Perhaps not for children under three. But I bought the cottage with the white bunny set for my daughter years ago, when she was two. I supervised her when she played, and removed the really small pieces. She LOVED playing with the animals in a house. They have held up well. Still at age 6, they are some of her favorite toys.

   I actually had these when I was a little girl (32 now) they started off being called Maple Town if anyone remembers- we had saved them and I have some of the same sets they sale now
   AND Michaels has theirs all on clearance for somewhere bw 60-70% off
