Your Audible Membership gives you one audiobook of your choice every month and you can choose from over 180,000+ titles. Even if you choose to cancel, your audiobooks are yours to keep.
Listen to your audiobooks with the free Audible app for iOS, Android, or Windows devices. If you have a Kindle, your Audible purchases will be waiting in your “Audiobooks” tab.
Please note – this offer is not available to existing Audible members or customers who have been paid Audible members in the past 30 days.
I just discovered that through my public library, i get free access to hoopla.com. 😊 It does not have everything, but there is quite a varity. I think i can borrow 10 items per month.

Oh awesome! Thanks for the heads up K!
Making sure I understand this.. So I pay for an audible membership monthly in order to buy audiobooks? Is this really a savings? It sounds fascinating, but a quick glance it seems expensive? Curious if it’s worth it or what alternatives there are.
So worth it! I listen to a book a week. Saves me a ton!
Amanda, with a membership you get 1 credit a month (good for 1 book) plus a discount on other books you want to buy. The books are yours to keep even if you cancel your membership. I have been a member on and off for a few years. I also live in a city with a pretty good library and can download though Overdrive but they don’t have everything. What I’ll do is wait for a special and join for a few months. I’ll get some books that the library doesn’t have/or that I would want to listen to over and over again (I listen to audiobooks as I fall asleep.) At some point I’ll decide to cancel and you can do that online (sometimes when I go to cancel they will let you pause your membership or give you a discounted offer and I’ll take that.) Eventually, I do cancel for about 4 -6 months. Then when there are more books I want I’ll rejoin.
Do check you your local library. I use it for books I’d want to listen to once or am just mildly interested in. I listen to a book every week or so from my library vs a few new books a year from Audible.
Thank you! I just signed up to give it a try! I think I may enjoy this in the car!
I have 2 apps that are free to download and all the books are free. The first one is Overdrive, you can hook up to your public library using your library card. It doesn’t have everything though. The second one is audiobooks you just signup and you can listen to audio books for free! Hope you use them!!’n
