I’m trying to decide between the cricuit and the cameo. I would be using it for making homeschooling materials and some crafting. Anyone have both or have a preference? Help me decide!
I have both and I think the Cricut Design Space is much more user friendly and the machine itself is easier to use too!
I have owned every cricut since launch. Also have 2 cameos. The ease of the silhouette software makes me use that over my explore/maker. My suggestion is play around with the software on both and go with the one that is easiest for you.
I hope this deal comes back when I have$$$! I’ve bee wanting one!
You can also get 2% back using Ebates. If you use their tool bar, it will not show as a participating vendor. You have to go to ebates.com and select Cricut from there. When I recently purchased from Cricut & my toolbar didn’t automatically turn on the discount, I didn’t think they participated. A few days later on ebates I saw the Cricut logo & emailed cust svce asking why the shopping assistant in the tool bar didn’t give the ebate. She said not all companies participate in the tool bar. I was confused as isn’t that the purpose of the tool bar, to always make sure you’re getting the ebate? She did as a courtesy then give me the ebate. So moral of the story I guess is to always start on ebate.com and not rely on the tool bar shopping assistant!
Does anyone know if you can use this to cut shapes from felt ?
Yes you can
If you want just the machine, it’s $249 at Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/Cricut-Explore-Air-2-Machine/dp/B01GSOMVRG/ref=sr_1_8?s=arts-crafts&ie=UTF8&qid=1503577471&sr=1-8&keywords=cricut&th=1

So I was wondering if this would be something to get for my 10 yr old daughter? She loves arts and crafts and was wondering if it’s something she would enjoy and could handle?
