I am just curious. Is there a way to insure that these will be fresh? I am so worried about buying something that is being stored somewhere sketchy. I am comfortable with walking into the grocery store and buying food. I am good with buying food from a stores website (ex target)… where is this box of pop tarts coming from? And how do we know that it hasn’t been tampered with? I have always been curious about this.
I was concerned about freshness too, but haven’t had any problems with Amazon’s food. Most items have at least a 6 mos best by date or longer. I recently ordered goldfish crackers. They came packaged with a case of wipes. Goldfish crackers box was smashed. Amazon replaced it with no problems and next day shipping.
Have ordered many items and I always check dates on everything. All have had dates that were well in the future for the item received. I’ve been very happy with my purchases, and I know that if I do ever receive anything that is not, a phone call will make it right. Their customer service line has always been very satisfying as far as I’m concerned. I think you’ll be well pleased.
