To clarify. I CAN purchase a candle and get a free item up to $14. OR I CAN get a free item up to $14 just NOT a candle? I’m sorry long day (and it’s still early!- yikes!)

It states on the coupon it is valid for any item up to $14 except for 3 wick candles and mist sleeves. So you can purchase a candle and get something free, you just cannot use the candle as the item you are getting for free.
It depends on the clerk. I have gotten $10 worth of handsoaps on sale and he let me get the free item to be the Aromatherapy bath gel. It all depend on the clerk.
Can I use the free item coupon multiple times?
As in Buy a candle, get free hand soap?
Buy another candle, get another free hand soap?
Buy another candle, get a free body wash?
You should be able to. I’ve went to two separate bath and body works on the same day before and used the coupon twice. Don’t know if the same cashier would let you though. But I know it will scan more than once.
