   Does anyone know about this? I’m confused on all of the devices. Will it have the same type games as a switch?

  Kathryn, no this will not play Nintendo switch games, only 3DS & some DS games.

  Sorry- I didn’t ask that very well. Will it have the same game titles (Mario etc) for sale but using its own platform? We have a Switch. I’m just trying to figure out if my kids will be asking for this too. It looks like they’re similar and both portable? I’m sure I’m missing something though

  I think that the switch has its own games that aren’t all available for the DS’s. There’s a Mario game for the switch that isn’t made for any other platform.

  This 2ds xl will play ds, 2ds, & 3ds games but it won’t show 3ds games in 3d, they just look like normal games.
