The smaller ones were harder to put together than the bigger ones. We got them last year. We are getting the bigger ones this year. Maybe you are more crafty lol.

How big is each mini house? What size would be best for a group of 3-4 year olds?
The minis are perfect for preschoolers! We used these for a group of kids a few Christmases ago. They are big enough to handle but small enough that it would not take forever to decorate. I would preassemble the house beforehand, though. Sometimes some of the parts come cracked or split.

Kids love making them but what about moms. Last year, I hosted an adult decorating party. It was so much fun. The kits come with candy but have every mom bring a bag or two of extra candy. Thanks Hip2Save I am going to be able to buy all the kits early and save $.

We love making these every year, but got so frustrated trying to keep the house together. We finally have resorted to hot gluing the pieces together and then decorating them. I know it’s not the traditional way, but it has made it so much fun to decorate.

Thank you. I got the mini village for a little over 7$ with tax and instore pick up. As an idea, we use the kids left over Halloween candy to decorate the houses. They think it is fun, gives them more to create with and uses up old candy;)
