I bought this knife set 10 years ago. Still have it, still love it; have never needed another knife!

I purchased my Henckel knife set over 20 years ago and they’re still amazing. I wash & dry them by hand, and sharpen when needed.

These knives are the BEST, and super high quality. They were a wedding gift ten years ago and are in use every day. A few years ago the handle started separating on one knife and I sent it to be fixed for free from Henckels.

Just a note… Since this is the “International” line, it’s a lower quality product than the regular Henckels knives. These are made in China, not Germany or Spain like their nicer pieces. Not a bad price, but you’re certainly not getting a set of knives worth more than $100 (and definitely not $220!).

i have same set, for over 10 years and love them. I looked and mine are marked international.

I checked on amazon and they have an “International Knife set” & country of orgin is spain. However, Katrina is right the one being sold on ebay is made in china… May not be same quality.

When checking out I had a $15 off $30 I was able to use instead of the 10%. These only cost me 54.95!!

Oh awesome! I don’t find that offer as I click through. Glad you could snag the additional savings Kate!

The EASIEST way to know if the Henkels are the authentic German or knock offs from China…look at the logo. The ‘one man’ logo is from China (aka International). The ‘2 man Henkel’ logo are made in Germany.

We got a set of these for our wedding and we LOVE them. Seriously the best knives I’ve ever used!

Slightly off topic but I own a set by Cuisinart and they are no longer sharp. I have tried the bar thing it comes with but either I am not using it properly or it is not working. Any suggestions or should I just buy a new set?

    • Brianna

I am having the same problem with my Cuisinart knives and am but new this year.

I honestly don’t trust anything high quality, brand name being sold on eBay or Amazon and recently Walmart (they started allowing 3rd party sellers) there is absolutely no authentication process unless either one of those platforms receive enough reviews/complaints that the product is fake. Been burned way too many times and refuse to buy from any of those platforms including the Walmart 3rd parties. Aside from that really really appreciate Hip2Save posting all the different deals!
