Why do you keep posting this? This is literally the third time I’ve seen this deal this year.
Are you getting money from someone for posting this? Is it Amazon? Is It CVS? This website is supposed to be about deals, not about sponsored content or ads.
If people didn’t see this the first time you post it, well that’s too bad. They can go back and look for it. You don’t need to keep posting this time and time again.
You do realize that people join throughout the year. So repeating a deal helps them out if it is stil good. If you are tired of looking at a post, skip it. This isn’t a site just for your benefit.
I have been following this site for year and I have missed it the other times she has posted this deal. As someone who needs to make an amazon purchase, I am grateful to now be able to save $5 on my purchase.
If it saves her readers money, then I have no problem with her doing sponsored posts. She puts a ton of time in to this site and should be getting paid for the effort she puts in.
Wow, there is so much negativity in this world. Hip2Save has saved me so much money over the years. I can’t thank Collin and the group enough. Most blogs have a great deal of sponsored content. That is how they are able to run and make a profit. The work that goes in to maintaining a site like this is practically a 24/7 job.
Please allow me to share a short story that occurred Saturday (candle day at Bath and Body works). It is my Christmas story this year as it shows the true meaning of paying forward and giving. I happened to have 3 coupons that provided a $15 of $40 discount. The lines were very long, and many people left, preferring to order online, but everyone was nice and there was no negativity. We were all there for the same reason. To save our hard earned money. I asked a few people if they had a coupon, and finally person #3 had 15 candles and no coupon. I offered her my coupons and the joy in her face made my day. She tried to give back the second part of the coupon for a free item with a $10 purchase. I told her to use and enjoy it. A while later, while still in line, she had checked out and came to find me. She used the coupon to buy a gift for me. I was stunned to receive a beautiful holder for a soap or lotion bottle. 2 complete strangers hugged and wished each other joyous holidays. If you look hard enough Cunebundo, you might learn a lesson about kindness.
Ew. I’ve been following Hip2save for many years and this is the first time I have seen this deal. As a huge amazon shopper, I am VERY THANKFUL for this deal post and the $5 credit I find very useful.
Thanks hip2save. I didn’t see this offer earlier.
Still good rather than stil good
Nobody forced you to click on it. Can’t you just enjoy the other hundreds of deals Colin and her team seek out for your benefit? I for one have never seen this posted here before and check the site fairly frequently. I see no issue with sponsored content if it’s relevant to saving money and helps keep the site up and running.
Wow! The Grinch really does exist!
Well said Joe! I, too, follow the site all the time, and this is the first time I have seen this post. I am semi house bound, and as a senior on a fixed income, I am glad to find any perks I can.
Im a little confused. Do i get the $5 when i spend $25 @ gamestop, or do i add $25 to my amazon pay account @ gamestop without buying anything? Please help ive never seen this deal b4
Hi there! Gamestop is one of the participating stores that you can add cash to your Amazon Balance. Through December 31st, add $25 or more using Amazon Cash and you’ll earn a FREE $5 Amazon credit towards your next purchase on Amazon. Hope that helps!
So you literally just go into a participating location, show the cashier your unique Amazon barcode to scan, pay $25+ dollars to them, and that’s it?? Is Amazon Cash suppose to be similar to using an Amazon giftcard?
Yep, Amazon Cash loads money onto your gift card balance the exact same way buying & redeeming a gift card does. Here’s a story about this service, although honestly I think it’s a solution in search of a problem: https://techcrunch.com/2017/04/03/amazon-launches-amazon-cash-a-way-to-shop-its-site-without-a-bank-card/
