Last year when my husband switched companies we had $5,000 (yep, five thousand) in FSA and HSA money to spend. We used fsastore.com to spend it. Bought lots of first aid kids and the best breast pump they had (I wasn’t even pregnant yet) a long with lots of other stuff!!
If you do use up a lot of HSA/FSA money make sure to keep your receipts because they WILL audit you.

Be careful! Not every FSA covers OTC items such as sunscreen. Check your plan before ordering. Mine won’t accept sunscreen or aspirin or anything OTC unless it’s for contact lens care.

If you have both FSA and HSA, eligible expenses are different and must come out of correct plan.
Actually, the expenses are exactly the same. The biggest difference between the 2 plans is that FSA funds are forfeited if not claimed by your Final Filing Date and HSA funds rollover from year to year, otherwise, the only other difference is the maximum contribution limits. I’ve answered these questions a few thousand times since I work for an administrator of the plans. 🙂

It’s actually not tied to your insurance. They are usually sponsored by your employer so you would want to check with them.

Check with your company and local Licensed Massage Therapist, but many of my clients are able to use FSA dollars for massages.
A limited purpose FSA covers dental, vision, and other eligible expenses, but not medical or prescription drugs.
Yep, that’s correct! However, a full Flexible Medical Spending Account has the same eligible expenses as the HSA. The Limited FSA also covers preventive prescriptions such as birth control along with the dental and vision you mentioned.
We had a limited FSA this year for dental and vision only. But I was able to use it for my contact solution.
