I got a different one (with wheels and a smaller container that sits on top) from the same seller and it is good but it is NOT airtight. I still use it, but am looking at getting a better one.
I have the Iris model with a 2nd container on top- I agree that it is not air tight and after close to a year of normal usage the hinges on the rear continue to come loose/free- The other thing I, and the designers, didn’t think about is how cumbersome it is to take the top container off in order to access the bottom container when I bought it for space saving purposes- I imagined the 2 being affixed somehow resulting in easy access but not so much- The wheels are great as is the container being see through- All in all, I would buy from the line again-
I use a very similar Iris container (older design, I guess?) for my cat food and it has held up fantastic in the 4 or so years I’ve been using it.
Amazon prices are higher
Bummer! Thanks for letting us know! I am finding this gone from both Amazon and Walmart now as I click through.
Use this type gor cat food, and use a rolling bin with wheels for dog food. Have had them for 5 or more years, and love them. I slide the open food bag in. Less mess and have all info in case of a recall.
It’s showing up as out of stock for me on both sites. Good deal though for anyone who got it!
Bummer! 🙁 Thanks for sharing Brooke!
Can you use this for human food, like rice?
