I agree. The hotdog was not jumbo, just a normal size hotdog and the burger was pretty small for a double. My 4 year old doesn’t each much and she ate almost the whole burger. Maybe it’s just my Hardees. Their food is never as big as the picture insinuates. It all tastes good though.
A whole day’s worth of calories
I’m normally not a fan of hot dogs but these are really good. It is a lot of food. I usually eat the hot dog & fries & save the cookie & cheeseburger for later. So even better deal if u can make 2 meals out of it.

We did this deal at Hardee’s the other day. It was the worst. Hot dog was disgusting, there were only 4 onion rings, cookie was hard as a rock. They didn’t even separate the fries and onion rings, just dumped them in on top of the burger and dog. We will not be returning. (We purchased 5 of the meals btw, so it wasn’t just me, the whole fam

Wow. I picked up 2of these meals about 8 weeks ago at Hardee’s to have lunch with my husband at work. The cookies were about the best I’ve ever had!! They were warm, freshly baked, and even slightly UNDER done, just the way I like them! I’m not a fan of Hardee’s, but I was really impressed with their cookies. BTW, 2 of these meals were too much food for me (pregnant at the time), husband (who hadn’t eaten yet that day), and our bottomless pit of a 3year old.

Huvs and I did this today. Bad experience as well. Service was good, but the food was not. My burger was too charred. The side was black. When tapped on, it sounded like knocking on a door. The cookie was charred as well. Overbaked and tough! I’m hoping it was a fluke. Anyone with good luck at this spot?

We get the hot dog and cheeseburger meal, and my two boys split it, then I just order one extra cookie. The hot dogs are amazing when they are fresh, but not so great when they are nearing the end of the hold time. But it isn’t a FULL order of rings, it only comes with a half order, but since you are getting the fries also, its plenty. They do just dump the fries into the box, but the box would have trouble closing if they put the fry box into the box. It’s actually a really good value considering the normal cost of food at Carl’s Jr. I mean, at our local store, the tender box is the exact same thing as the tender combo, just three dollars less, and they throw in a cookie. Plus, I heard that starting next month they will have sliders and a slider box, plus maybe even a happy hour for sliders!

Me and my husband first tries hardees on our honeymoon. We went up north in Michigan and there wasn’t that much to choose from and we were very happy with it. Burger was good I thought. And cookies were warm and soft. Fries were good as well. It’s a lot of food for one. Usually lasts me 2 meals.
Then I had the free meal from my t mobile tuesday so got it in my local area in Michigan. Cookie didn’t taste as good and wasn’t as soft but still alright. Burger was also still good the next day heated in the microwave.
So I’m guessing it is by location how meals turn out just like most other places. Not all restaurant including fast food obviously meet the same standards as others. Me and my husband think their boxes are great deals and get it on occasion because it’s a little further than other fast food if we want it.

I️ stopped by and got the one with onion rings. Good buy. They gave me like 4 onion rings so I don’t know if it’s a full order or not. Still a great buy!
We’ve been to our Hardee’s maybe 2-3 times since we’ve lived here (7 yrs), not a fan. Service was so incredibly slow (when they weren’t busy at all). Always questionable people just hanging out, weird feeling. I know it’s not all of them, there was a Hardee’s in my hometown when I was young & I remember it being awesome.
My Hardee’s is the same exact way!!! Takes forever for your order and the homeless people are always sitting outside of it asking for things. But I also had a nice Hardee’s back in my hometown growing up
These are sooooo gross. It’s disgusting. I couldn’t even finish it without gagging. I ate a couple bite of the cheeseburger and decided to toss it. My daughter ate the cookie.

I’m not a big Hardee’s person, would rather go to steak n shake or McDonald’s Lol. But I’ve tried this meal twice in the past few months and both times it was gross to me. The burger was super greasy, cookie not done and I didn’t care for the chicken either. Guess it’s just not my type of meal…or could be the location I go to. The workers are nice but service is always slow. I tossed half of it. I remember eating at a Hardee’s when I was a kid in my hometown that was really good….but now I’d much rather have the Dairy Queen $5 meal. Food not greasy and sundae better to me than a cookie. 🙂
Just bought. Five five dollar meals got no chamber got ripped off five hamburgers, got five chicken sand, never going there again it’s a rip off
