Pardon my ignorance, but why do people clear snow off their deck?
My brother uses his grill outdoors on his deck after snowstorms. Especially during power failures from those snowstorms. Also makes it easy to get to ice filled coolers used for storing perishables during power outages. Keeping the coolers outdoors help the ice maintain it’s cold factor. Beats having to place things on ground level.
So it doesn’t get too heavy on the deck. It could cause a collapse.
