Got a pair! Thank you!
You’re welcome!
Thank you! Got 2 pairs of the tall mint blues!
You’re very welcome! So glad you were able to snag some!
Does anyone have these? Is there arch support? What makes them so wonderful? Just curious, since boots that look similar are much cheaper at Target.
I have bought them before and had to return them; I didn’t think they were comfortable at all and I wanted to like them desperately as they are so cute!
Me too! I wanted to keep them so badly but they were so uncomfortable. I have narrow feet but the heel rubbed & it didn’t feel like there was any arch support at all. Such a bummer because they’re so cute.
I love my pair! I think they are super comfy and supportive. I can wear mine all day to teach in and my feet don’t hurt at all. The only thing that needed to break in was the calves for me. They stretched just a touch after a couple wears.
Thanks for the reviews! I froze at rainy football games last fall and dont want to repat that this year.
Look into Bogs! I found they had more support, and I got the insulated version for winter and cold, wet Midwest soccer games!

Oh, and they’re having a winter clearance right now too! 😊
I will check them out! So they run true to size?
I have a pair of BOGS. True ti size. I got them when I worked at a CSA. (Community Supported Agriculture-you work on a farm once a week for a share of food, it’s fun. You’re supporting a local farmer and getting free organic food!) They are super cute, mine have a beautiful floral print on brown and are lined. I can wear with or without a sock depending on the season, I’ve also been wanting a pair of Hunter too, but I need to try them on in a store first. Hope this helps! 🙂
PS. Mine have a thin insulated lining, not fuzzy like Uggs.
I filtered for black boots and when I put it in my cart it says navy gloss??
That happened to me at Christmas and I accientally ordered navy. I was so mad when they came. I didn’t bother returning because they weigh a ton and I figured it would cost too much to mail back.
They were too y’all for me. Couldn’t bend my legs! I am 5’2
they were also too tall for me as well! I am 5’2″ and had to get the short version.
Do you know if the kids tall boots are about the same shaft length for the women’s tall boots?
Try the kids’ Hunters!!! My shorter followers rave about them! Many pair ship for free with free returns on Amazon.

If you are on the shorter side (I’m 5’2″) the tall boots might not be the most comfortable. I have a pair of the tall boots and the top of the boot hits me right under the knee cap and it’s not comfortable
Thanks for letting us know, Mara!
Does anyone know how the sizes run? I’m a true 7 1/2 and never can find boots in half sizes. I’m not sure if I should size up or down.
Size up
I wear a 6 1/2 and the 6 fit great. The 7 would be too big.
Agreed. Definitely size down if you’re a half size. Responding to other comments- the kids’ version are shorter. They have 2 reflective stickers on the back though, so not all adults like that. I don’t think Hunter makes the most comfortable boots. They are stylish and trendy. I agree that Bogs lined boots are the bomb for winter. Fuzzy Ugg-like lining with easy on handles and great arch support. I like my Hunters but I wouldn’t call them comfortable. I’m 5’7′ and I do find them to be tall and stiff. Some of the Bogs winter boots have a neoprene upper which is a lot more comfortable.
Thanks Suzanne
I ordered a pair in green a couple months ago (the black and red that I REALLY wanted were sold out). I wasn’t sure about them at first, but I have been wearing them MOST days. Im actually glad now that I got the green instead of the black or red, as I get lots of compliments on them! They are NOT warm for winter wear, at least not for your feet/toes. They keep my calves warm though. I’m 5’3″ and they go way up to my knees, but I can still comfortably bend them and walk. The calves are pretty small though. I don’t know how people have room for the cute boot toppers or socks in these! I’m normally a 7 1/2 but I ordered a 7 and they fit just right, so maybe for more room in the calf I should’ve ordered up? Anyways, I love them and would definetly consider getting other colors. Hope that helps if you are on the fence!
There are faux toppers that just attach to the top. It’s usually just the cuff. You can knit your own, too! Super easy.
Thanks for sharing how these boots have fit Laura! Good to know!
So if I am true 9, what size do I order in these? Thank you! Love this mint color but would hate to pay a million bucks for return shipment!
So, do people wear these as everyday boots or just for rainy days?
My sister in law has been wearing them all fall and winter. I guess they are good for rain or snow.
I just don’t understand the fascination with these rubbery boots. Reminds me of kids boots that are worn just on rainy days.
I think the fascination with these is that they’re originally from Europe and grew a following, like a lot of things, and are pricey so people automatically think they’re better.
I have a pair and got them bcus of the name but don’t find them particularly comfortable either..
I was wanting a pair of these boots mainly because of all the hype.. but I found a great pair of Sperry rain boots at their outlet and they are amazing! I can wear them all day! I also bought a pair of the Sperry Duck Boot and they are super comfy and have great support. (BTW: they are on sale on the Sperry website right now.. Some I think are half priced.. I should be a spokesperson for them hehe)
Oh cool! Thanks for the reminder Rachel! We have that sale listed over here – https://hip2save.com/2018/01/16/up-to-60-off-sperry-boots-free-shipping/ 😉
I wish I didn’t already have a pair so I could get these in the adorable color in the post 😌
I already have a pair in another color too, but considering these for spring!
These boots are the best. They are durable, comfortable, stylish, and classic. I’ve had my tall pair for nearly 5 years now. I then bought a short pair which I’ve had for 2 years. I typically size down when it comes to Hunters.
If you are buying a glossy pair, they will begin to “bloom” (white, powdery look). This is because rubber is a natural product and in certain conditions, insoluble particles may rise to the surface. This is a common process, characteristic of high quality, natural rubber and nothing to worry about. It will not affect the performance or durability of your boots. A pristine finish and shine can be easily restored with regular use of Hunter Boot Buffer or Instant Boot Shine.
Awesome to hear how well these boots have held up for you through the years! Thanks for the helpful tips!!
I was a bit let down with the color…they arent minty….more of just a pale blue
I have had my pair for about 5 years and I love them!!
I have the Hunter Chelsea Boots in matte black & I like them very much for rainy days, but I wear them if I’m dressed nicely. I’m a size 9, and found that they run true to size. Truthfully, If I’m out running errands, or if it’s cold, I actually prefer my Muck boots. They’re my favorite! 🤗
Here to second the comment about the tall boots not working for is us short girls..couldn’t bend my knees…and they were so cute!
I prefer Joules myself. They are very well made, cost less and are extremely warm and comfortable. I buy the shorter version since I am short and they fit perfect. Love my wellies 🙂
I’m 5’4″ and still needed the short boots. I wore them a lot but after perhaps 2 years one of the buckles came off (since I bought at Nordstrom they sent them in to be fixed), then perhaps 2 years later they began to crack to the point where water could get in the boot. So I got decent usage but did expect more. I replaced them with UGG rainboots.
How are these for calf width?
Not the best. Go with a shorty. Personally, I prefer Joules mid-height rain boots – they look great with long skirts and pants and hit below my calf muscle.
Mint, graphite blue or kids pink? Does anyone know what big kids 5 equals in women’s? I love them all!!!!
