i have a 4 year old. Do they check the age?
that’s what I’m wanting to know too!
They do check the kids ages at our location
They do not at ours. How would they check the age? Just don’t bring a 1-3 year old. My oldest two do it and I fib a couple of months on their brothers age. No one has ever said anything.
No they don’t at location, but your kid should be able to keep up with instructor and group to put very tiny pieces together since it’s only around 15 minutes until next round of minibuild.
Instructor? My kids walk in, give their names, take a kit, sit down and build it themselves.
Ours is at Disney springs so must be different depending on your location. It is a group gathering at ours.
They ask about age in the OC, CA locations
The builds are for 6-14. If your child is four, he/she is not eligible to participate. Show your kids some values and don’t lie. REALLY PEOPLE!!
I agree.. These few spots fill up so fast, i think it’s not fair to kids that are actually within the correct age limit. I take my Lego crazy 5 year old with us to the Lego builds but he knows that he can’t take part like his brother until he’s 6..
My daughter could do 300 piece puzzles and large lego sets at a young 4. Her sister would go to legos that is 3 years older and my 4 year old had to help her. So don’t give me that don’t lie stuff. I agree telling lies is awful. But… I think the age requirement here is for normal kids ability to be able to put the set together. Everyone lies just to what extent. It is sad but people get ahead these days on how well they can lie. I guess that is why I could never manipulate and lie my way up the ladder at work. I was too honest. Now I just stay home with my 5 kids. I think the lie here is acceptable if your child is able to complete the project by themselves in a timely manner.
Your lies set the stage for your kids. Mommy lies so it must be ok for me to do also, Following rules should be the normal standard practice! While I am certain that your kids are the MOST AWESOME – a childhood based on lies and deception from their parents does NOT make a fine adult! The rules state the age – do YOU understand?
My parents taught me that lying is awful. But I take my 5, 7, 9 year old. My 5 year old has no problem. I think it is the big stuff that matters, having sex before marriage, drugs, alcohol. Telling your parents you are at your friends house and your at the mall. Getting fake id’s. You need to inform your kids that everyone tells lies. But don’t do it with important stuff. Ever tell your kids that broccoli is a magic gree tree so they will eat it? Ever tell them that the meat loaf does not have onlions but it does? Ever tell them that Santa is real? The tooth fairy? Easter bunny? Ever do April fools jokes? Ahh you have a spider on your head but you really don’t? It is all about perspective.
From last few months all I can see is wait list only.
Thanks for the reminder! All registered!
Yay! You’re so welcome Holly!
