This solid wood bunk bed set comes with two full-length guardrails on the top bunk and a secure, easy-to-climb 4-step ladder for safety. Plus, the bunks can be easily converted into two twin beds!
We have this bunk bed set. We bought it 6 years ago and it has been bunked, unbunked, moves from one room to another and back (twice). It is still holding up strong. We liked it because unbunked the head and footboard of each is exactly the same, not one taller and one shorter as we saw in some other sets. Anyway, just wanted to say we like this set and it has lasted us nicely so far.
That so awesome that it has held up so well for you guys! Thank you for the feedback!
We have an older version of these and love them! Our slats go up and down. We have had them for over 7 years!
Oh, and we use them as a triple bunk. Another twin firs right underneath! We have one regular pillowtop on the bottom bunk and a memory foam on top. In the future we may add a thin sheet of plywood since our girls are now 14, 13, and 10.
We love ours!
We also have this same set. Bought it last time when on Hip2save but we got 2 free mattresses. My husband couldn’t believe the deal! Thought it would be junk. He was impressed, best deal ever.
How difficult is it to change sheet on bunk beds? Thinking of getting these but are they are pain to change?
Yes, it can be a bit difficult but it’s doable. A lightweight mattress is a must. I generally would just pull ours off bed to put on fitted sheet and then lift it back up. But with a bunk you also have to consider the child on top when it comes to bed wetting or sick (vomiting) nights. We always used a mattress protector but still changing a soggy top bunk in the middle of the night does happen. It’s just something to consider. Our boys used a similar bunk for 6 years and we did it for space reasons. Now we use ours as separate twin beds as we have moved and each have their own room.
