I know this is only 99c, but the Amazon reviews supposedly from different people so consistently reuse the same few phrases that they seem bogus.
I had a similar response when I read them — most of the reviews seem to also use similar sentence structures, and there are frequent/common language errors that make it seem like many of the reviews are not written by native English speakers. Seems shady.
It is possible to “look inside” the book and see the table of contents and types of recipes that are included.
You can use http://www.fakespot.com to analyze the reviews. According to that site this product’s reviews get an F.
After clicking on “Look Inside” and scanning a few recipes, many are not whole30 complaint. Vanilla extract is out, as is any sort of “recreation” like muffins, and all desserts, etc. are not allowed either. This would be better off labeled as a Paleo cookbook. Too bad for the dishonesty in both the reviews and convincing whole30ers to eat something they shouldn’t.
