I don’t know what I can order, espresso macchiatos are excluded. What other ‘hand crafted’ drinks contain espresso?
Handcrafted means they put a little more effort into the drink – Espresso Macchiato, is one shot of espresso with a little milk. Handcrafted espresso is pretty much everything else on the latte, Macchiato, Flat White or Cappuccino list. I normally get the Cinnamon Dolce Latte with an extra shot of espresso. About $6 drink for $3!
Does iced coffees fall under this? Like iced macchiatos or lattes? Its too hot here for for hot coffee.
As long as the word latte, Macchiato, Flat White or Cappuccino is there, you can order it. Hot or cold.

It only excludes espresso machiatto, which is different that a latte machiatto – just FYI. Espresso Machiatto is a shot with a dollop of cream. It’s not a commonly ordered drink.
I looked in my app and email and I don’t have a barcode for the store to scan do you have to have one to be able to use this offer? I am really confused why I don’t have anything. There are some random small numbers at the bottom of email is that what I need? Thanks so much
You have to give those random numbers to the cashier at Starbucks so they can apply the discount. They prob already have it but make sure you mention your order is for Happy Hour.
Just mention the deal when you pay with your Starbucks card it will automatically take it I asked the barista the last happy hour

On my Starbucks app it says the code expires May 11th 🤷
Starbucks is really sneaky with their expiration dates – for example your free reward drink expires 5/31? That means 5/30 at 11:59 pm. Not end of day 5/31. So in this case, 5/11 is 5/10 11:59 pm.
I know, it’s crazy confusing! One time it said my stars expired on March 1st. I went on March 1st and they said my stars expired the day before. 🙁
Same here. I was soo mad when I went to order and use stars and I didn’t have enough. The barista was very nice and let me order my drink anyway w/out ringing through the register! So now I know to redeem my free drink a day or two before the star ‘expiration’.
I never encountered that problem. I almost always use my free reward on the date it says it expires. Just recently, I got a reminder email to use my rewards as it would expire May 1st, and I went to Starbucks on May 1st in the evening and redeemed my 2 rewards without a hitch.
I’ve been signed up for these since it started & always get an email. But I don’t have one at all yet. Anyone else having this issue? I tried signing hubby up, but he only got the $3 for and grande Frapp & nothing until the next happy hour May 17th.

If you are not a Starbucks pro (like me) but you are wanting to try something different than just coffee…try the flat white. It has expresso and is my go-to drink for road trips.
My dad and I love a Blonde Flat White with vanilla, very smooth!
Hazlenut flat white is my favorite! Flat whites do have an extra shot of espresso vs a latte, so be ready. 🙂
