Love this trash can! Dollar Store batteries have lasted several months of frequent use and it’s so much more sanitary with 3 little kids.
Ordered one. We have another brand of touch-less trashcan and it eat batteries. 6 AA very month gets expensive! Read the reviews on this trashcan and I’m hopeful we will save money on batteries too.
I’ve had one before as well and prefer the touch top Rubbermaid trash can. This one now sits outside without the lid (it stopped working all of a sudden) for recycling.

We bought this and it was awesome for the 3 days it worked. The warranty is trash (hahaha). It trash can can’t have ever been
used if you are going to return it and it must be sent back in original box for servicing but you pay the shipping. $$$$$ we still use ours but without the motion lid obviously. Pretty cheaply made and horrible service.
We purchased a couple years ago and love it! I don’t feel like it eats battery’s up.
