It says individual-level. That means your data could still be shared in aggregate with other users’ data.
Does anyone know if this is the best price?
I don’t know if this is the best price ever, but when I looked just last week at pricing, it really was $200 for this version, so it’s not the typical nonsense MSRP pricing that Amazon uses to make you think you’re getting a great deal.
We paid $149 just a couple weeks ago!
This is the same price as Black Friday, so yes best price since then.
I love all the crimes that are being solved using relatives that have done this. If I can help in any way AND learn more about myself I think it’s great.

I don’t get the paranoia behind these tests. I think it’s amazing! I’m mixed race so getting my results was exciting bc I am so many different things. I’m also adopted and found my birth family on both sides!
I may not be all just paranoia. I can see for example health insurance companies misusing this kind of information and denying potential insurers in the future.
Nevertheless it is very exciting to learn about our own DNA, our ancestors etc!
I’ve been really interested in getting this kit since I read there is a migraine gene. 99.999% sure I have it since I have migraines and I have so many relatives with them, but would be interesting to get tested. I think this is a good price, but still not sure I’m going to buy.
I have 2 adopted daughters, one has an adopted birth mother. Zero medical information. This was worth the money for the additional information.
I have complete control over how they use the information. Since the girls are minors, their info is secure.

My cousin’s wife is adopted from Korea. For Christmas, my cousin bought her this kit and a few weeks ago the company contacted her and said she was a match for a possible sibling.
