Heading there this Week! Our first time on the Island!

I would definitely go to the north shore to eat at the shrimp trucks!

      • Miriam

Agree with the north shore shrimp trucks! Also, be sure to get out of Waikiki. There’s so much else to see and do. Take it from a local! Enjoy! πŸ˜‰

I stayed here last year in the rainbow tower. The room was great.

    • Erica (Silly Sidekick)

      Awesome to hear!! 🏝

We stayed in the Rainbow tower – highly recommend this tower than the others. It’s right on the beach and the most convenient. We took my son there for his 5th birthday and 5 months later he is still talking about it.

So awesome, happy to hear you had a great time! πŸ™‚

We stay here every year for our anniversary. It’s right on the beach and close to the mall or downtown Waikiki shopping. Awesome place.

I stayed here in the Rainbow Tower for 10 days last October. I would highly recommend! I would also recommend that you not miss the free classes (ukelele lessons, lei making, hula as well as yoga, tai chi and sculpt) that come with the mandatory daily resort fee. They were really fun. Also DO NOT miss the fireworks show every Friday night. They also have an amazing show around one of the pools prior to the show. You can save some $ by standing outside the pool area and see the show. Tickets include seating inside the pool area and a drink. Several restaurants/bars on site had early bird dinner specials that were a great savings for upscale food.

We stayed here last summer. Loved the property! Lots of pools, the Lagoon (perfect for families with young children who the ocean waves might be too wild for), beautiful beach with plenty of room for all the guests, lots of restaurants and 2 ABC stores for everything you could possibly need!!!
We stayed in a 1 bedroom suite in the Tapa tower. Spacious room, comfortable, clean. Loved that we had a full bath (shower/toilet separate from vanity area) and a 1/2 bath! Lots of room for our family of four. 2 balconies with great views of the ocean and the property and a perfect view for the Friday night fireworks show!!! Centrally located on the property so everything is close by.
My only complaint was our room was in desperate need of a refresh & is just dated. The carpets were stained, furniture stained & our dining table chairs all broken. If we had paid the current advertised rate, I wouldn’t complain πŸ˜‰ lol
But we paid twice as much at the height of the travel season.
We still really enjoyed our stay, and highly recommend Hilton Hawaiian Village. Just heads up to anyone looking at the Tapa Tower, it’s not fancy and new; just a bit “tired”. But at the current advertised rate, it’s a GREAT price for a suite in Waikiki!!!

Can anyone tell me what the resort fee is? Can’t seem to find it on their listing…

    • Susan

      $40 per room per night
