This was not the case at my local dollar general. The discovery magnet tiles had a yellow star on them and no blue dot, so not 50% off at my store. Also, there were some various hot wheels toys with blue dots on them that did not ring up 1/2 price. The only toys that had blue dots on them that I purchased that rang up 1/2 price were the block tech sets (they look like legos). I got a police station and fire stations set for $5 a piece. Regularly $10 a set. And there were no signs posted anywhere in the aisle stating a 50% off on select toys sale.

They were on a top shelf over the incontinence products in my store. Staff was super-unhelpful. They told me that I could take a step stool from the other side of the store (that they sell), to reach the shelf. I’m 5’7”, but even with the stool, I had difficulty reaching everything. Found some nice things though.
There was a wooden block – castle shapes set for $7.50 reg. $15.
